WHAT IS A COMPANION DOG?
A companion dog is much the same as an assistance dog with the exception of being able to work in public places. Some people don't want an assistance dog to help them in public but need the help at home. Some dogs are not comfortable in the busy environments that assistance dogs go so they are trained to be companion dogs instead.
Companion dogs are trained to provide the same mitigating tasks for their handlers in their homes. They provide great comfort and support without the pressure of public access training.
The training for this is provided as a 1 to 1, please get in contact for costs as pricing varies depending on what tasks you would like to train.
